This BIXINK Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes BIXINK Therapeutics Co., Ltd.'s (collectively “BIXINK”, “we”, “us”, or “our") practices regarding the collection, use, storage, sharing, and safeguarding of your personal information including personal identifiable information (PII) collected from any BIXINK-operated website or mobile application and the BIXINK.com website when not logged in (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, and/or by providing personal information to BIXINK, you accept and hereby expressly consent to our collection, use, retention, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you choose not to provide the requested information, you will not be able to access the Service.

BIXINK may collect information provided from you via emails, forms, or other methods while you are using the website. This information may include your first and last name, address, email address, telephone number, and any additional information you provide to BIXINK during your use of the website.

Article 4 Periods of Retaining and Using Personal Information and Destruction of Personal Information

1) Users’ personal information shall be destroyed without any delay after the purposes of collection and use of their personal information have been fulfilled. However, if users’ personal information needs to be retained for a certain period of time for the following purpose of verifying transaction parties’ rights and obligations in accordance with provisions of relevant statutes.

2) The website shall destroy personal information in the following manner.

1. Destruction procedure
   • The information entered shall be transferred to a separate database (in case of information on paper, a separate filing cabinet), stored for a certain period of time in accordance with internal guidelines and other relevant statutes, and then destroyed.
   • The above personal information shall not be used for any purposes other than for the purposes stipulated by relevant law.
2. Destruction methods
   • Personal information printed out on paper shall be destroyed by shredding or burning.
   • Personal information in electronic file format shall be entirely destroyed by technological methods so that they may not be restored or regenerated.

Article 5 Provision of Personal Information for Third Parties

1) The website shall neither use users’ personal information nor provide such information for other persons, companies, and institutions beyond the scope of Article 2 above (Personal Information Items Collected and Purpose of Using Personal Information).

Article 6 Withdrawal of Consent to Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

Users may withdraw their consent to the collection, use, and provision of their personal information by emailing a request to info@bixink.com. They may also do so by contacting the security officer of the website in writing or by telephone. Then, the website shall immediately take necessary measures, such as deletion of personal information. The website shall immediately notify users of such measures, including withdrawal of consent and destruction of personal information.

Article 7 Measures for Ensuring the Security of Personal Information

BIXINK uses secure server software (SSL), firewalls, and end-to-end encryption to protect your PII from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
